What is the best kind of tape for making a sculpture?

Well, I think mixing and matching is the best bet. Gaffer for strength and bulk, spike for detail and color, scotch for repairs, packing for texture, masking for novelty and paint lines, electrical to prevent sparks and mark wires (oh, there will be electricity involved, believe me) and duct for, well, you just gotta use duct tape!
